Quaneshia Dominque Arshay Clark is the daughter of Betina Clark-Smith, grandparents Leon & Shirley Sanders and Bobby Smith. Upon graduation, June 10, 2011, she plans to attend NC A&T State University where she will obtain an undergraduate degree in Biology. Her future long-term goal is to become a pediatrician. Some of her extracurricular activities while in high school include, Ladies of Vision (LOV) Club member, Clayton High School Band (Winterguard), Wake AHEC Mini-Medical Clinic participant, “I am Queen” Foundation participant, NCCDI Summer Program Internship, Senior Superlatives of Johnston County and maintaining A/B honor roll.

Claire Odunlami Kinoshi-King is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Tayo King
(Jacqueline). She is a graduate of Clayton High School. She will be
attending UNC-Greensboro to pursue a Nursing degree. Her favorite
scripture is Romans 12:2: Do not conform any longer to the pattern of
this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you
will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and
perfect will.

 

 

 

Bryant

 

Tre’ Quillan Ashaad Padgett, is the son of Mrs. Michelle Roberts
(Ricky) and Mr. Antonio Padgett, Sr. and the grandson of Pastor and
Mrs. Breeden. He is a 2011 graduate of Southern Durham High
School. Tre’ will attend North Carolina Central University beginning
second session of summer school. He has remained active throughout
his four years of high school as a member of the National Society of
High School Scholars, the Marching Band Percussion Captain, and
member of Chi Omega Lambda High School Fraternity. Tre’ is
involved in his community through Durham Wayfinders Volunteer
Group, Aids Walks, Jack-and Jill Durham Chapter, “Think Pink” for
Breast Cancer Awareness, Habitat for Humanity, and Triangle Heart
Walk. His hobbies are playing basketball, drawing, and spending time with his family and friends. One thing remains constant for Tre’ are the words that have been embedded in him from his family: “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.”

 

 

 

 

 

Robi Robinson, a senior at West Johnston High School is the daughter of
Robert and Sherry Robinson. Her maternal grandparent is Mersedes
Griffin, husband deceased. Her paternal grandparents are Robert
Robinson, Jr. and Nannie Ruth Robinson. Robi plans are to attend
Johnston Community College, then transfer to East Carolina University
where she will study Criminal Justice.

Her favorite saying is: "Take me
as I am or have nothing at all."

 

 

 

 

 

FaisonAshley Brooke Anderson is the daughter of Wheatley and Wayne Anderson and the granddaughter of Roy and Gloria Dublin and Joe and Burline Anderson. She is a 2011 graduate of North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. Ashley plans to attend graduate school next spring.

Her favorite scripture is Revelation 3:20: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and he with me.

 

 

TurnerLaShunda Tomeka Faison is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Ray Faison, Sr. (Jennifer). LaShunda is a graduate of Wake Forest University with a Master of Arts Degree in Education. Her area of concentration was secondary social studies education, and she has conducted and published research about the use of current events in social studies classrooms. LaShunda is employed with Wake County Public School System and hopes to obtain a doctorate in education policy after fulfilling classroom service to North Carolina as a Teaching Fellow.

Her favorite scripture is 2 Timothy 4:7-8: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me
on that day..."

 

 

 

Vinson“Do not go where the path may lead but go instead where there is not path and leave a trail” is one of Kiadrick’s favorite quotes. Kiadrick Roshelle Hood, a native of Clayton, North Carolina is the Daughter of Rosa and Frederick Hood both of Clayton, and the Granddaughter of the late Penella Lane and the late Walter ”Bud” and Cora Hood also of Clayton. Kiadrick is a 2006 graduate from West Johnston High School in Benson, North Carolina. Upon graduation from high school, she matriculated to Winston Salem State University where she was a member of the Winston-Salem State Gospel Choir, the Professional HealthCare Careers Club, Student Nurses Association, Central Carolina Black Nurses Association, and Chi Eta Phi Sorority INC. On May 14 2011 she graduated from Winston-Salem State University with a Bachelors Degree in Nursing. Kiadrick will be working at Randolph Hospital in the Intensive Critical Care Unit, with future plans to continue her education to get a Master’s degree in Nursing. Kiadrick has lived her life and continues to live it knowing that WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE and nothing is impossible because in the word IMPOSSIBLE says “I’m possible”.

 

 

VinsonMinister Eva Lane Mitchell, daughter of the late Leroy and Penella Lane, wife of the late James Larry Mitchell, and mother of the one and only Tilola Lieunella Mitchell is 2011 graduate of Justice Fellowship International College with a Master's Degree in Biblical Counseling. Believing in God's word Minister Mitchell always teaches her family and friends to study to shew thyself approved unto God...., 2 Timothy 2:15, therefore she will continue her studies this fall. Her favorite scripture is Romans 8:28: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” and her favorite hymn is "Because He Lives."

 

 

VinsonNadia Lane Stone is the daughter of James and Pauline Stone. She is a graduate of University of Maryland University College with a Master of Science Degree in Business Administration. She is employed in Reston, VA and praying and waiting for God to reveal her next assignment.

Her inspirational scripture is Philippians 4: 13: "I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me."
